EVENING PRAYERS & POTLUCK
Join us at 6 pm Monday through Saturday for evening prayers a Mar Addai Parish (830 E. Canal Drive). After our Thursday prayers, join us for our weekly potluck with His Grace, Mar Awa Royel. Bring a vegetarian dish to share with your Mar Addai family. We hope all of you will spend some time with us!
ASSYRIAN LANGUAGE SCHOOL
The first day of classes for the Mar Addai Assyrian school is September 8th . Class will be held every Friday from 6:00-7:45 pm. Registration is $25 for the first student, $20 for the second student, and $15 for each additional student. Cost of textbooks is not included in the registration fee. Students must be five years old by September 1st to attend.

Open registration for Assyrian Language classes will be held on Friday, September 1st from 6-7 pm at the Larsa classroom office. The last day to enroll in classes for the 2017-2018 school year is October 13th.

Morning Prayers begin at 8:00AM with Supra Prayer beginning at 9:00am.

Youth & Young Adults Bible study held every Friday at 7:30pm at Mar Addai Parish.
Rabbi Qasha Ephraim Alkhas was born in Southern California and grew up as an active youth member of St. Mary Parish of the Church of the East in Tarzana, CA. He was tonsured a reader when he was 15 years old in St. Mary's Church. Rabbi Qasha Ephraim has a Master's of Philosophy and Theology from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, a Master's of Divinity from Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature from Cal State University Northridge. In 2009 he was ordained a priest in the Antiochian Orthodox (Rome Orthodox) Church, and served as a pastor in Wasilla, Alaska. Feeling called to return to the church of his heritage, he was received as a priest in the Church of the East by His Grace Mar Awa in 2013.
Rabbi Qasha Ephraim has served as the priest of Mar Addai Parish since 2017. Prior to this appointment, he worked with His Grace Mar Awa on the Commission on Inter-Church Relations and Educational Development. He is a member of the Assyrian delegation in the official Bilateral Dialogue of the Russian Orthodox Church and Assyrian Church of the East.
Rabbi Qasha Ephraim and his wife Elaine have been married since 2005. They have three young daughters, Shoshana, Elishwa, and Mariam. In his spare time, Rabbi enjoys gardening, woodworking, camping, canoeing, and fishing.
